Cutting speed - according to the data on page 222 and 248 of the catalogue.
As there are many parameters which have influence over cutting speed selection, range of speeds
in the table above. Correct cutting speed can be found when we have an information concerning:
- type of workpiece material and hardness, - the area of cross - section of layer being cut A ,

- stability of the machine - clamping - workpiece - tool system and character of machining
( e.g. interrupted machining ) , - cutting tool angle, - expected tool life.
Machining parameters should be optimized - ( the economic period of the lifetime ) in order to select
the most efficient relations of parameter in existing machining conditions.
