          1. Indexable inserts drills produced by  PFN PAFANA S.A. are modern cutting tools destined to cutting  holes,
          turning and internal turning on machine tools  having the large rigidity, and especially on modern CNC cutting
          machine tools.                                                                                         III.


          2. Indexable inserts drills are destined to drill holes in full material. In each case of cutting one ought to
          assure rigid clamping system / cutting workpiece and  tool /, strong, internal providing of coolant system
          and the possibility of good chips removal. With these drills holes of about the depth 2xD, 3xD / D - diameter
          of drill / can be made. Optimum - working conditions of these tools are: rigid system  / machine tool - clamping
          system - workpiece / and axis of drill placed horizontally. Face surface of workpiece should be flat and
          perpendicular to axis of drill. Admissible is not large unperpendicularity /2°/, but then necessary is reduction
          of feed even for 70%. One ought to avoid drillings in material, wherein already exist  transverse holes,
          perpendicular to the axis of drill / maximum admissible diameter of these holes is 1/5  diameter of drill /
          During passages by through this type of  discontinuity of material one ought to reduce feed about 60-70%.
          In cases of making difficult  chips removal one ought to use cycle chips removal /cyclical withdrawing of tools
          from the hole during drillings/ about frequency depended on precise conditions of cutting. Drilling without cycle
          of chips removal  enables, except from shortening of cutting time,  to obtain less roughness of cutting surface.
          Indexable inserts drills enables, except from drilling, performance with the same tool, internal turning, facing
          operation / facing / and external turning.


          3. In both seat / internal and external / we clamp the same indexable inserts - WCMT03..., WCMT04...,
          WCMT05..., WCMT06..., WCMT08... -  indexable inserts of  PAFANA are recommended *.
          Accessible indexable inserts to machining  steel and stainless steels ( see page No 177).


          4. Before  replacement of inserts one ought to clean seat. In order to clamp the insert one ought to use only original
          screws provided  by  PAFANA. In case of damage or excessive wear of screw one ought to replace a  new one.
          After  tightening up a screw, insert should be adjoined to all base surfaces of the seat.


          5. Cutting parameters should be chosen to concrete conditions of cutting in dependence from rigidity of system
          / machine tool - clamping system - workpiece / and sort of cutting material / speed 80-180 m/min., feeds
          0, 08-0, 18 mms/rev./ proper breaking chip is demanded / in case of  too long chips one ought to increase feed on
          turn and decrease cutting speed /,what will assure comfortable process of cutting.


          6. Before beginning of drilling one ought to turn on coolant system supply. In case of machining with round
          object / turning lathe/ in final phase of the drilling, waste material is created which can be thrown out from
          cutting zone. In typical machine tools possessing required protection of holders, there is no threat of using.



          NOTE! - *- use of indexable inserts other producers can be effective with the negative working of tool.
